NAPERVILLE — The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) has announced the 2026 Men’s Tennis All-Conference Teams and individual award winners on Wednesday morning.
Carthage’s Francisco Silveira was selected as the CCIW Student-Athlete of the Year after finishing 7-0 at No. 1 singles during the conference season. Silveira did not lose a set in league play. The award is the second major individual conference honor of his career after he was named the CCIW First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year in 2023.
Millikin’s Gillian Nahum was named the CCIW First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year. Nahum played primarily at No. 1 singles and finished the season with a 13-7 overall record.
North Central received CCIW Coaching Staff of the Year honors after completing the conference schedule with a 7-0 record and winning its third consecutive league title. The Cardinals were led by interim head coach Joey Leto and graduate assistant Danilo Kovacevic.
Silveira also earned a spot on the All-CCIW First Team, becoming a four-time All-CCIW selection. He was previously named to the First Team in 2023 and 2024 and the Second Team in 2025.
Carroll senior Andrew LaBelle joined Silveira on the First Team. LaBelle earned First Team recognition after receiving Second Team honors in 2023.
North Central placed Henry Ros and Phillipp Wottgen on the First Team. Ros went 7-0 at No. 2 singles, while Wottgen recorded five wins at No. 1 singles.
Carthage’s Diego Silva and Augustana’s Santiago Diaz completed the First Team. Silva posted a 5-1 record at No. 2 singles. Diaz recorded three wins at No. 1 singles, including victories over Nahum and Wottgen.
The All-CCIW Second Team included Carthage’s Finn Morris, Millikin’s Gillian Nahum, Carroll’s Ryan LaBelle, Illinois Wesleyan’s Ben Vigneri, North Central’s Andres Valverde and Wheaton’s Corin Tang.
Morris earned repeat All-Conference recognition after being named the CCIW First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year in 2025. Nahum added Second Team honors to his 2026 First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year award.
Ryan LaBelle and Vigneri returned to the conference’s postseason honor list after previously being recognized as their teams’ RESPECT Award recipients in 2023. Valverde was selected after going 6-1 at No. 3 singles for North Central, while Tang represented Wheaton after competing at No. 1 singles.
