CCIW Unveils 2026 Women’s Lacrosse All-Conference Selections

NAPERVILLE — The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced its 2026 All-CCIW Women’s Lacrosse Teams and individual award recipients on Tuesday afternoon. Carroll, which completed a 5-0 conference schedule and won the regular-season title, was represented among each of the league’s specialty awards.

Elizabeth Wang of Carroll was selected as the CCIW Offensive Student-Athlete of the Year for the second consecutive season. Wang led the conference during league play in goals (22), points (30) and shots (41). She averaged 6.00 points per game during the CCIW schedule.

The CCIW Defensive Student-Athlete of the Year award was shared by Carroll’s Grace Tumilty and Carthage’s Kaitlyn Goff. Tumilty earned the award for the second time in her career after previously receiving the honor in 2024. She helped lead a Carroll defense that allowed a conference-low 17 goals in league play, while also pacing the CCIW in ground balls per game (4.20) and caused turnovers per game (3.40).

Goff was named Co-Defensive Student-Athlete of the Year after contributing to Carthage’s second-place finish in the conference standings and CCIW Tournament berth. A First Team selection at defender, Goff led the league with 7.80 draw controls per game during the conference season.

Carroll’s Paige Helms was named the CCIW First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year and also received All-CCIW Second Team recognition. In her first collegiate conference season, Helms ranked among the top 10 in the league in goals (11), points (14) and draw controls per game (4.20).

The Carroll coaching staff was selected as the CCIW Coaching Staff of the Year. Head coach Michael Hodge, who was previously named the league’s Coach of the Year in 2021 and 2025, led the Pioneers to their second consecutive undefeated CCIW season. Carroll led the conference in several major categories, including scoring offense at 18.0 goals per game and scoring margin at +14.6.

Several of the 2026 honorees added to previous All-CCIW recognition. Wang, Tumilty and Carroll teammate Samantha Hurd were named to the First Team for the third consecutive season, with each receiving First Team honors from 2024 through 2026.

Carthage’s Hannah Kim and Piper LeFevre returned to the First Team after earning the same recognition in 2025. Carthage’s Auggie Claridge and Carroll’s Devon Duym also collected their second career First Team selections, while Augustana’s Becca Lacina and Madison Langewisch, Illinois Wesleyan’s Sadie Newton and Elmhurst’s Jacq Vanoni were recognized by the conference for the second consecutive season.
