NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Following a successful start to non-conference play that sees two College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin squads still unbeaten and six at .500 or better on the season, the league turns its attention to CCIW play this week. Starting on Wednesday night when Augustana College visits Elmhurst University, all nine CCIW programs will play their conference opener before the weekend is through. Saturday features a quadruple-header of conference action, with undefeated Illinois Wesleyan University (4-0-4) making the trip to challenge North Central College (7-0-0), the No. 16 team in the country in the most recent United Soccer Coaches poll. Elsewhere, North Park University hosts Wheaton College, Augustana welcomes in Carroll University, and Carthage College squares off with Millikin University.

Statistical Leaders
Millikin leads the CCIW offensively with 30 goals and 3.75 goals per match, while North Central has allowed a league-low two goals through seven matches for a 0.29 goals-against average. Elmhurst has also been productive, scoring 18 goals while allowing just five through eight matches.
Individually, Millikin’s Izzy Jones leads the conference with nine goals and 21 points, averaging 2.63 points per match. Illinois Wesleyan’s Ava Mapes follows with eight goals and 18 points, while North Central’s Jordan Lange has six goals, four assists and 16 points. Elmhurst’s Alaina Clark leads the CCIW with five assists, ahead of North Park’s Maja Applequist and Illinois Wesleyan’s Ellen Dahlquist with four apiece.
In goal, North Central’s Lily Mattison leads the conference with a 0.23 goals-against average, allowing one goal in nearly 385 minutes. Carroll’s Ava Lewandowski and Augustana’s Sara Schinker have each recorded three shutouts, while North Park’s Makenna Harvey leads the league with 44 saves and 7.33 saves per match.
