NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- North Central junior outsider hitter Reagan Raymer and Carthage senior setter Ellie LeCount were selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women's Volleyball Players of the Week following their performances last week.

A native of Wyoming, Ohio and Wyoming High School, Raymer helped lead the Cardinals to a 3-1 record last week as she combined for 48 kills, 49 digs and 14 service aces in the four matches. She had six kills and six digs in a three-set win over Concordia-Chicago on September 4, 11 kills, 10 digs and one service ace against Coe on September 6, 17 kills, 12 digs and eight aces in a four-set win over Monmouth (Ill.) on September 7, and 14 kills, 21 digs and five aces against Rose-Hulman later in the day. 

A native of Racine, Wisconsin and St. Catherine's High School, LeCount won her second-straight CCIW Player of the Week honor as the Lady Reds went 3-1 last week. LeCount averaged 9.07 set assists and 3.29 digs per set in the four matches, along with seven service aces. She had 33 assists, 10 digs and four aces against UW-Whitewater on September 4, 29 assists, 10 digs and three aces in a sweep of Lakeland, along with 28 assists and 15 digs in a sweep of Concordia-Wisconsin on September 6, and 37 assists and 11 digs in a four-set win over Bethel (Minn.) on September 7. The Lady Reds were ranked 19th in the latest AVCA Top 25 poll on September 10.

During the 2018-19 academic year, the CCIW honored over 2,200 academic all-conference recipients, 18 CoSIDA Academic All-Americans, 43 CoSIDA Academic All-District recipients, and over 100 all-Americans.
