NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- North Park's Peder Olsen and North Central's Sid Marquardt were selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Soccer Student-Athletes of the Week on Tuesday. For Olsen, this is his third weekly award of the season with Marquardt notching his second weekly award this year.

Olsen, a senior midfielder from Larvik, Norway, tallied six points in a 1-1 week for the Vikings last week. Olsen's six points came in North Park's 7-1 victory over Augustana on Saturday, marking the fifth time in his career that Olsen has recorded six points in a single match. Olsen's first goal came on a ninth-minute penalty kick and he connected for the brace in the 15th minute. His two assists came on goals in the 51st and 66th minute. Olsen finished the season leading the CCIW in goals and points for the third-consecutive season, marking the first time any player has led the league in both categories for three-straight seasons.

Marquardt, a sophomore goalkeeper from Hartland, Wisconsin, made 12 saves and allowed just one goal in a 2-0 week for the Cardinals. Marquardt made six saves apiece in wins over Wheaton and Carroll. With a shutout victory over the Pioneers on Saturday, Marquardt recorded his 11th shutout of the season, which is tops in Division III.
