NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Cassie Hyland of the Carthage College women’s bowling team was named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Bowler of the Week, announced Wednesday, Nov. 10. The Psychology major earned her second CCIW award of her career after picking up the honor last season, March 17.
Hyland had an average score of 188 this past weekend at the Titan Invitational Nov. 6-7. The sophomore finished second place overall individually to earn her first all-tournament team distinction of her career. She also helped lead the team to an overall second-place finish at the Titan Invitational hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
