CCIW Unveils 2025-26 Women’s Bowling All-Conference Selections

NAPERVILLE — The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced its 2025-26 Women’s Bowling All-Conference Team and annual individual awards on Wednesday afternoon.

Carroll junior Ava Butt and Elmhurst junior Mary Graves were named CCIW Co-Student-Athletes of the Year. Butt collected the honor for the second consecutive season after leading the conference with a 95.8 percent Player Composite Performance Index (PCPI) and a league-best 197.1 overall scoring average. She also paced the CCIW in fill percentage at 84.8 percent and strike rate at 50.0 percent. A Second Team honoree in 2024 and First Team selection in 2025, Butt is now a three-time All-Conference performer and the first bowler in conference history to earn Student-Athlete of the Year honors in back-to-back seasons.

Graves shared the conference’s top individual award after finishing second in the league with an 89.7 percent PCPI and a 193.0 overall average. The Elmhurst standout, who was recognized as the CCIW’s 2024 First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year, became a three-time All-Conference selection after previously earning Second Team honors in both 2024 and 2025. Graves led the conference in spare shooting efficiency, converting 89.9 percent of makeable spares and 96.8 percent of single-pin attempts.

Carroll freshman Miley Brooks was selected as the First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year. Brooks also earned First Team All-Conference recognition after ranking third in the CCIW with an 88.7 percent PCPI and a 191.1 overall average. She led the conference with a 22.3 average in the 10th frame and recorded a 50.0 percent Baker double percentage.

Marian’s coaching staff – directed by head coach Dan Mueller – was voted CCIW Coaching Staff of the Year after guiding the Sabres to their fifth consecutive CCIW regular-season championship. Marian finished the conference slate with a 10-2 record and secured the No. 1 seed for the conference championship through a total pinfall tiebreaker, 6,737-6,403, over Carroll. The Sabres also placed four student-athletes on the All-Conference teams.

The 2025-26 First Team All-CCIW selections were Brooks and Butt of Carroll, Graves of Elmhurst, and Marian’s Kaitlyn Kesler and Elana Rimer. Kesler and Rimer each earned All-Conference recognition for the first time, while Kesler closed the regular season with the league’s top traditional average in the final event at 230.6.

Second Team honors went to Aurora’s Annie Honsik and Annemarie Ruzevich, Carthage’s Airie Frost, and Marian’s Katie Blake and Brianna Clemons. Honsik, Frost, Blake and Clemons each received All-Conference recognition for the first time. Ruzevich earned her third consecutive All-Conference award after First Team selections in 2024 and 2025 and now extends a streak that began with her 2022-23 First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year honor.

The regular season also marked a milestone for Carroll, which claimed its first CCIW regular-season championship in program history. The Pioneers opened league play with a 6-0 start and finished in a tie with Marian atop the standings. Marian has now won or shared every regular-season title in the league since 2022.

The conference’s top four teams – Marian, Carroll, Augustana and Carthage – will continue postseason play at the CCIW Championship, a double-elimination event scheduled for March this weekend in Moline, Ill.
