NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Wheaton senior forward Cade Alioth was selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Basketball Players of the Week on Monday.

An Economics major from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Alioth averaged a double-double last week in a pair of wins for the sixth-ranked Thunder. Alioth carded 19 points and 14 rebounds in a win at UChicago on Tuesday, converting all five free throw opportunities and shooting 7-of-11 from the field. In Saturday's win over Ripon, he finished with 17 points and 16 rebounds to record his fourth 'double-double' of the season. On the year, Alioth is averaging 16.3 points and 13.3 rebounds per game.
