NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- North Central senior
Gabe Pommier was selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.
A native of Mahomet, Illinois and Mahomet-Seymour High School, Pommier won the individual title at Wheaton's Gil Dodds Invitational on Saturday at St. James Farm. He won the 8K in a time of 25:07.5, helping lead the Cardinals to the team title, which featured 17 teams including all nine CCIW programs. St. James Farm will be the site of the 2021 CCIW Cross Country Championships on Saturday, October 30.
