NAPERVILLE – North Park senior Esther Miller has been selected Women’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week by the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW), according to an announcement from the conference office on Monday afternoon.
The Sullivan, Ill. native averaged 15.5 points for the Vikings in league wins over Illinois Wesleyan and Elmhurst last week. She also tallied 10 steals, including a career-high eight thefts against Elmhurst that represented the second-highest single-game total in NPU history.
Miller shot 54 percent (13-for-24) from the floor, distributed five assists and blocked two shots.
Monday’s announcement marks North Park’s first CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week selection since Jayla Johnson on Jan. 31, 2022.
