NAPERVILLE — The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) placed a number of student-athletes on the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Women’s Basketball Team, recognizing performance in both competition and the classroom.
 
The Academic All-District® program honors student-athletes with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average who are at least sophomores academically. Nominees must also meet participation requirements based on games played or starts.
 
Several CCIW student-athletes who received all-conference or national recognition during the season were among this year’s honorees. Carroll’s Natalie Gricius, the CCIW Lori Kerans Student-Athlete of the Year, was selected after leading the conference in scoring at 22.8 points per game. Teammate Emilie Wizner also earned recognition following a season in which she received First Team All-CCIW honors and set the program’s single-season record for three-pointers made.
 
Illinois Wesleyan’s Sawyer White was named to the Academic All-District® Team for the third consecutive year. White helped the Titans win the CCIW Tournament title and finished the season as the program’s all-time steals leader. Augustana’s Cali Papez also collected her third career selection after leading the Vikings in double-doubles and earning Second Team All-CCIW honors.
 
Carthage’s Malia Green was among the conference’s repeat honorees and was also named a finalist for CSC Academic All-America® consideration. Elmhurst’s Natalie Harty, Kristin Bukata and Anna Kleszynski each became two-time recipients, while North Central’s Jocelyn Trotter earned the distinction for the second straight season.
 
Academic All-District® selections advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. The Academic All-America® teams are scheduled to be announced on April 15.
