NAPERVILLE — North Park’s Jessica Dudas was selected College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Student-Athlete of the Week in women’s tennis on Wednesday morning.
Dudas, a freshman, clinched the Vikings’ dual win over Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday in the #4 singles slot. The Roselle, Ill. native lost the first set in a 10-8 tiebreak, but came back for a 6-4 win in set two. Trailing 5-2 in the third set, Dudas rallied to win the set, 7-5.
