NAPERVILLE — Illinois Wesleyan freshman Addison Krouse was tabbed College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Student-Athlete of the Week in women’s golf on Wednesday afternoon. Krouse won Millikin’s Dechert Classic in Decatur last Saturday.
The Effingham, Ill. native finished the two-day tournament with a total score of 160. Krouse shot an opening round 81, putting her in second, before her final round 79 at the 5,600-yard, par-72 South Side Country Club sealed the first win of her college career. Krouse’s total score 160 was a career-best as she led the Titans to an 11-shot victory over Coe.
