North Central’s Henry Ros Garners CCIW Men’s Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week Award

Ros Posts 6-2 Record at ITA Regional.

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Central College’s Henry Ros claimed College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Men’s Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week honors after posting a 6-2 record across singles and doubles competition at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Regional hosted by Wabash College in Brownsburg, Indiana.

Ros advanced to the quarterfinals of the A Flight singles draw, earning victories over opponents from Wheaton College’s and Washington University in St. Louis before falling to a Case Western Reserve University student-athlete. 

The senior also teamed with Philipp Wottgen in doubles, bouncing back from an opening-round loss to win four straight matches and advance to the consolation final. The duo picked up victories over teams from The College of Wooster, Illinois Tech, Ohio Northern University and Hanover College.

Ros and the Cardinals have wrapped up their fall slate of competition and will return to action in the new year.
