NAPERVILLE — The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) has announced its Women’s Indoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week following meets held last weekend. Illinois Wesleyan senior Adriana Crabtree was selected as the track honoree, while Elmhurst sophomore Chloe Selmer earned the field award.
Track: Adriana Crabtree, Illinois Wesleyan
Crabtree received recognition after her performance at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational in Louisville, Ky. Competing against a primarily Division I field, she set an Illinois Wesleyan program record in the mile with a time of 4:54.60. The mark improved the previous school record of 4:59.29, set in 2016, and currently ranks third nationally in NCAA Division III.
Field: Chloe Selmer, Elmhurst
Selmer was honored after her effort at the Squig Converse Invite. She won the triple jump with a personal-record mark of 11.68 meters (38-3.75), which currently ranks seventh nationally in NCAA Division III.
