Gricius, Bardic Recognized on D3hoops.com Women’s Basketball All-America Teams

NAPERVILLE — Carroll’s Natalie Gricius and Illinois Wesleyan’s Ava Bardic were named to the 2025-26 D3hoops.com Women’s Basketball All-America teams on Saturday.

Gricius, a senior forward at Carroll, earned First Team All-America recognition. She averaged 22.8 points and 6.1 rebounds per game while shooting better than 55 percent from the field. During the season, Gricius set Carroll’s single-season scoring record and became the third player in program history to reach 1,500 career points and 500 career rebounds. She was also named the D3hoops.com All-Region 8 Player of the Year earlier in the postseason.

Bardic, a senior guard at Illinois Wesleyan, was selected to the All-America Fourth Team. A unanimous First Team All-College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) pick, she averaged a team-best 19.3 points per game and finished the year with 561 total points. That total ranked 12th in Division III this season and stands as the third-highest single-season mark in program history. Bardic also recorded 74 assists and 71 steals while helping the Titans claim a share of the CCIW regular-season title and the conference tournament championship.

The honor marked another national recognition for both programs. Bardic became the eighth player in Illinois Wesleyan history to earn D3hoops.com All-America distinction, while Gricius added to a season in which Carroll advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Both Gricius and Bardic helped lead their teams to 23-win seasons in 2025-26.
