NAPERVILLE, Ill. - After three weeks of non-conference matches, the nine College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin men's soccer teams are now gearing up for the start of the eight-match gauntlet that is CCIW play. On Wednesday night, the first CCIW match of the year takes place when Elmhurst College travels to Carthage College. Carthage is then back in action on Saturday as the rest of the conference kicks off. Highlights from that four-match slate include Illinois Wesleyan University facing North Central College in a clash of the two teams who have put together the best records in the CCIW up to this point. Elsewhere, North Park University welcomes in Wheaton College after receiving votes in the most recent United Soccer Coaches poll. Millikin University traveling to Carthage and Carroll University making the jaunt to Augustana College wrap up the rest of slate on that busy day of action.
