NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Illinois Wesleyan’s
Angela Herrmann and North Central’s
Ebony Stallworth were named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week on Tuesday.
Herrmann, a junior from Schaumburg, Illinois and Conant High School (Elementary Education major), placed first in both the 60-meter dash (7.80) and the 200-meter dash (26.07) at the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday. Both times were personal bests, while her 60-meter dash time is currently ranked fourth and her 200-meter dash time is currently seventh on the Division III Track & Field Results Reporting System (TFRRS). Both times currently rank first in the CCIW.
Stallworth, a senior from South Holland, Illinois and Thornwood High School (Exercise Science major), finished third in the shot put at the Grand Valley State Mike Lints Alumni Open on Friday. Her mark of 45-6 ½ (13.88 meters) currently ranks fourth on TFRRS and first in the CCIW. Additionally, Stallworth broke her own school record in the weight throw with a toss of 51-3 ½ (15.63 meters), which currently ranks 13th on TFRRS and second in the CCIW.

The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) was founded in 1946 and currently services eight member institutions including Augustana College (Rock Island, IL), Carthage College (Kenosha, WI), Elmhurst College (Elmhurst, IL), Illinois Wesleyan University (Bloomington, IL), Millikin University (Decatur, IL), North Central College (Naperville, IL), North Park University (Chicago, IL) and Wheaton College (Wheaton, IL). During the 2013-14 academic year, the CCIW honored over 1,400 academic all-conference recipients, 14 CoSIDA Academic All-Americans, 33 CoSIDA Academic All-District recipients and 87 all-Americans.
