NAPERVILLE — Thirteen student-athletes from six College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) institutions have qualified for the 2026 NCAA Division III Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships, scheduled for March 13-14 at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Ala.
Elmhurst leads the conference contingent with a program-record six qualifiers. Sophomore Chloe Selmer earned selections in both the triple jump and long jump, entering the meet seeded third in the triple jump (12.10m) and fourth in the long jump (5.93m). Junior Paulina Tinajero also qualified in both jumping events and is seeded 10th in the long jump (5.82m) and 13th in the triple jump (11.78m). Freshman Sarah Hahn qualified in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:11.10, while sophomore Brooke Greaves and junior Tiana Grady earned spots in the 60-meter hurdles with times of 8.69 and 8.82, respectively. Junior Carmela Woods rounded out the Bluejays’ group with a berth in the 400-meter dash at 55.97.
Illinois Wesleyan will send three qualifiers to the national meet, led by junior Imani Ogunribido in the triple jump. Ogunribido enters the championships as the top seed with a mark of 12.63 meters, which stands as both a CCIW and program record. Senior Adriana Crabtree qualified in the 3,000-meter run and enters the field seeded 12th with a conference-record time of 9:37.71, while junior Mackenzie Huber earned her first career national berth in the 800-meter run.
Elsewhere around the conference, North Park senior Riana Hayes qualified in the 60-meter dash with a season-best time of 7.59 seconds. Carthage senior Madison Payne will compete in both the shot put and weight throw in her third career indoor national championship appearance.
North Central senior Gwen Berenyi earned a berth in the pole vault with a mark of 3.86 meters, while Carroll freshman Jenna Weis also qualified in the pole vault at 3.85 meters. Wheaton junior Grace Crowder completed the conference field with a selection in the high jump, where her school-record clearance of 1.69 meters is tied for 10th among the entrants.
