NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- North Central's
Michael Stanley and
Kendall Johnson were named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week on Tuesday.
Stanley, a junior sprinter from Geneva, Illinois and Batavia High School, won the 200-meter dash at North Central's Snow Day Invitational on Friday. His personal-best time of 22.24 is currently ranks first in the CCIW and fourth on the NCAA Division III national list.
Johnson, a junior jumper from Palatine, Illinois and Palatine High School, won the triple jump at the Snow Day Invitational with a personal-best jump of 14.27 meters (46-10). This mark is currently ranked first in the CCIW and 12th nationally. As a team, the Cardinals won the event with 213 points.

The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) was founded in 1946 and currently services nine member institutions including Augustana College (Rock Island, IL), Carroll University (Waukesha, WI), Carthage College (Kenosha, WI), Elmhurst College (Elmhurst, IL), Illinois Wesleyan University (Bloomington, IL), Millikin University (Decatur, IL), North Central College (Naperville, IL), North Park University (Chicago, IL) and Wheaton College (Wheaton, IL). During the 2018-19 academic year, the CCIW honored over 2,200 academic all-conference recipients, 18 CoSIDA Academic All-Americans, 43 CoSIDA Academic All-District recipients, and over 100 all-Americans.
