NEW ORLEANS — All-Academic Teams and Individual honors for the 2026 NCAA Division III Men’s Track & Field seasons were announced on Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin member institutions were well represented on the list, highlighting a strong combination of academic and athletic success. Fifteen CCIW men’s and women’s track and field teams were named USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams, while 60 student-athletes earned individual All-Academic honors, including 26 men and 34 women.
Every CCIW women’s program earned the distinction, including Augustana College (3.52), Carthage College (3.52), Elmhurst University (3.57), Illinois Wesleyan University (3.52), Millikin University (3.63), North Central College (3.51), North Park University (3.45) and Wheaton College (3.67). Additionally, seven men’s teams earned All-Academic status: Augustana (3.41), Carthage (3.19), Elmhurst (3.37), Illinois Wesleyan (3.45), North Central (3.21), North Park (3.29) and Wheaton (3.48).
North Central leads the league with 21 total student-athletes earning honors, including 12 men and nine women. Illinois Wesleyan and Elmhurst each had eight women named USTFCCCA All-Academic Athletes, while Illinois Wesleyan and Augustana each had four men earn the distinction, trailing only North Central.
Programs qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors by maintaining a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.10 on a 4.0 scale through the most recent academic term and meeting the organization’s additional requirements. Student-athletes earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete honors by maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale and satisfying one of several athletic criteria. Those standards include ranking among the top 50 individuals on the TFRRS indoor descending order lists, qualifying for the Indoor or Outdoor National Championships, competing on a top-35 indoor relay team or participating in a relay at the national championships.
