CCIW Earns Multiple All-America Honors at NCAA Men’s Indoor Championships

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Eleven student-athletes from six College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) institutions competed at the 2026 NCAA Division III Men’s Indoor Track & Field Championships, held Friday and Saturday at the Birmingham CrossPlex.
 
Illinois Wesleyan senior Evan Lowder turned in the conference’s top finish, earning First Team All-America honors in the 400-meter dash with a third-place time of 47.52. The mark established a new CCIW record and a personal indoor best. Lowder’s performance accounted for five team points as the Titans finished tied for 33rd in the team standings.
 
Carthage junior Dylan Parker also earned First Team All-America recognition in the 400-meter dash, placing eighth in the final with a time of 48.54. Parker recorded a school-record time of 47.87 in the preliminary round to advance to the final. Teammate Tyler Rose collected Second Team All-America honors in two events, placing 15th in the shot put with a mark of 16.04 meters and 16th in the weight throw at 17.73 meters.
 
North Central produced three Second Team All-America performances. Junior BJ Sorg finished 11th in the 5,000-meter run in 14:23.34. In the field events, junior Cole Oleson tied for 14th in the high jump after clearing 1.98 meters, while senior Prentice Myles placed 16th in the long jump with a mark of 5.10 meters.
 
Wheaton sophomore Ty Bova earned Second Team All-America honors in the high jump, tying for 12th place with a clearance of 1.98 meters. The finish marked the second All-America honor of his career.
 
Augustana senior Magnus Wells secured Second Team All-America recognition in the weight throw, placing 15th with a top mark of 17.80 meters.
 
Carroll was represented by freshmen Carlos Cadet and Brian Smith in their national championship debut. Cadet placed 15th in the triple jump with a leap of 13.80 meters, while Smith finished 17th in the 400-meter dash preliminaries with a time of 48.66.
