NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Carthage's
Grace Robinson and North Central's
Faith Ladin were selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women's Outdoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week on Wednesday.
Robinson, a sophomore from St. Louis Park, Minnesota and Minnetonka High School, ran a four-second personal record in the 400-meter hurdles at the Carroll Pioneer Invitational on Sunday. Her second place time of 1:05.34 is currently ranked first in the CCIW and 22nd on the NCAA Division III national list. It was also the fourth-best time in program history.
Ladin, a sophomore from Naperville, Illinois, won the javelin at the UW-Whitewater Rex Foster Twilight on Sunday. She finished with a mark of 40.56 meters, which currently ranks first in the CCIW and eighth in Division III.
