NAPERVILLE – Augustana’s McKenzie Reser (track) and North Central’s Alex Draves (field) have been voted Student-Athletes of the Week in Women’s Outdoor Track Field, according to a Wednesday release from the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW).
Track: McKenzie Reser, Augustana
Reser produced the third-fastest 100 meter dash time in Augustana history – 12.13 seconds – at Augie’s Meet of Champions last weekend in Rock Island. She finished fourth in the finals and now owns the CCIW’s second-fastest time in the event this spring.
Field: Alex Draves, North Central
A throw of 54.89 meters gave Draves the win in the hammer throw at Saturday’s "Don Church" Twilight Meet hosted by Wheaton. It was a personal best performance, best in the conference in 2024 and sixth-best on this season’s Division III list.
