Theo Wolf Tabbed CCIW Men’s Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week

NAPERVILLE – Millikin junior Theo Wolf was announced as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Wolf, a junior from Tempe, Ariz., logged four wins at or near the top of the Big Blue lineup last week.
 
In Friday’s match versus Wheaton, Wolf and MU teammate Cole Phillips were victorious 8-7 at #1 doubles versus Tim Steiner and Jack Booker. Wolf went on to defeat Joey Geisz at #2 singles, 1-6, 7-6, 10-8.
 
The next day, Wolf helped Millikin to an 8-1 league win over Elmhurst. It was an 8-0 doubles win with Phillips over Russell Reyes and Ben Cavka, followed by Wolf’s 6-0, 6-1 straight-sets triumph over Emiliano Montenegro from the second slot of the singles lineup.
