CCIW Women’s Swimming Student-Athlete of the Week (Jan. 28)

NAPERVILLE – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) tabbed Wheaton senior Katie Yonan the league’s Student-Athlete of the Week in women’s swimming on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Yonan won two individual events and swam on two winning relays at the North Central Invite on Saturday in Naperville. Her winning 100 butterfly time was a lifetime best as she broke a minute for the first time in 59.78 seconds – fifth-fastest in the CCIW. 
 
The Lawrenceville, N.J. native also won the 50 freestyle in 24.75 seconds. She is now a two-time CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week this winter.
