Healy Earns CCIW Men’s Golf Weekly Honor After Career-Low Performance

NAPERVILLE — Illinois Wesleyan's Aidan Healy was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Golf Student-Athlete of the Week on Wednesday.

Healy led the fifth-ranked Titans to a third-place finish at the Wabash Invitational, hosted at Broadmoor Country Club in Indianapolis last Monday and Tuesday.

The senior from New Lenox, Ill. individually claimed a share of third-place, which marks his second top-three finish of the season. Healy’s 54-hole score of six-under, 210, was a new career low, while his round two score of five-under 67 tied his career best. Healy’s 14 birdies and one eagle in 54 holes aided the Titan team to a top-three finish, falling only to top-ranked Emory and #4 Carnegie Mellon.
