NAPERVILLE — Illinois Wesleyan senior Myles Lahart finished second at the Carthage Firebird Fall Classic last week at Ives Grove Golf Links and Strawberry Creek Golf Club to lock down College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Golf Student-Athlete of the Week honors on Wednesday.
After an opening round of four-under 68, which was a career best, Lahart shot a final round one-under 71 for a 36-hole total of 139. His solo second-place finish was a team-best and his 36-hole total was the best of his career. Lahart was the CCIW’s top finisher at the tournament.
