NAPERVILLE – After three consecutive runner-up finishes, Elmhurst is the coaches’ pick to be the top team at the 2025 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championship this Friday and Saturday at the Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center in Kenosha, Wis.

All nine teams will descend on Kenosha beginning Friday for the two-day event that was first contested in 2001. Women’s events are officially scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday and noon on Saturday. The championship awards ceremony is scheduled for approximately 5:45 p.m. Saturday night.
 
Advance online ticket sales are available at this link. Adult admission is $10 per day, while admission for seniors (65+), students and children ages 6-14 is $5 per day. Children ages 5 and younger will receive free admission. Current students at a CCIW institution will receive free admission when presenting a student ID. 
 
The Bluejays – in search of their first-ever CCIW women’s indoor title – were selected first on seven of the nine coaches’ ballots to receive 63 points. EU was one of three CCIW teams in the national rankings released Tuesday, appearing at #6 in the USTFCCCA rating index.
 
Five-time defending champion North Central was slotted second in Thursday’s poll with two first-place votes and 58 points. The Cardinals were ranked 21st nationally on Tuesday.
 
Augustana was picked third in the poll, followed by Illinois Wesleyan in fourth and Carthage in fifth. The Firebirds were the third CCIW squad in the USTFCCCA rating index this week at #22.
