CCIW Puts 37 on Scholar All-America Award List

NAPERVILLE – The NCAA Women’s Scholar All-America Award list from the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) included 37 student-athletes from five College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) programs on Thursday.
 
These outstanding student-athletes have demonstrated excellence both on the mat and in the classroom, meeting one of the following academic and athletic criteria: a top-eight finish at nationals with at least a 3.0 cumulative grade-point average, competed in a minimum of 15 matches with at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA or was a national qualifier with at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA.

The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) was founded in 1946 and currently services nine member institutions including Augustana College (Rock Island, Ill.), Carroll University (Waukesha, Wis.), Carthage College (Kenosha, Wis.), Elmhurst University (Elmhurst, Ill.), Illinois Wesleyan University (Bloomington, Ill.), Millikin University (Decatur, Ill.), North Central College (Naperville, Ill.), North Park University (Chicago, Ill.) and Wheaton College (Wheaton, Ill.).
