Carthage Sweeps Aurora in NCAA Men's Volleyball Opener

KENOSHA, Wis. — The No. 6 Carthage College men's volleyball team earned a 3-0 straight-set win over No. 10 Aurora on Friday in the Second Round of the NCAA Regional Tournament. 

Owen Otto and Ben Heise each totaled double-digit kills with 12 and 11 respectively.  Ruben Emmerich led the Firebirds in aces with four while Ryan Morey had 29 assists along with three total blocks.  Hudson Sweitzer also had three total blocks. Zack Noland and Owen Otto recorded 11 and 10 digs respectively. 

The Firebirds will play the No. 4-seed Springfield Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
