PEORIA, Ill. — The 2025 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Golf Championship is slated to begin Thursday at WeaverRidge Golf Club in Peoria, Ill. Illinois Wesleyan – the 12-time defending league champion – is the coaches’ favorite to claim first place at the 54-hole tournament, according to a pre-championship ballot collected earlier this month.

The Titans earned the maximum point total in the poll – 64 points – and eight first-place votes. Carthage was second in the poll with 49 points and one first-place vote.
Wheaton was third with 45 points, followed by Millikin (44 points), North Central (41 points) and Augustana (34 points). The teams ranked second through sixth in Wednesday’s poll were separated by only 15 points.
North Park, Carroll and Elmhurst were slotted seventh through ninth in the poll.
The upcoming event marks the second consecutive year the CCIW Championship has been hosted by WeaverRidge in Peoria. Competition is slated to begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
