CCIW Men's Outdoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week (April 30)

NAPERVILLE – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) selected its Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week on Wednesday for competitions scheduled between Monday, April 21 and Sunday, April 27.
 
Track: Joe Langridge, Augustana, Senior (Des Plaines, Ill.)
Langridge ran the fastest time in the CCIW and fifth-ranked mark in the nation in the 3,000 meter steeplechase to finish 10th at the Drake Relays. His time broke a 32-year-old Augustana record. 
 
Two days later, he anchored the distance medley relay in 4:13.
 
Field: Anthony Zajac, North Central, Senior (Bolingbrook, Ill.)
Zajac threw the hammer 55.59 meters at the Drake Relays, which placed him 14th overall in a competitive field.
