NAPERVILLE — Elmhurst is the coaches’ favorite to win the 2025 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championship, schedule to begin Friday morning at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium on the campus of North Central College in Naperville, Ill.

The Bluejays nabbed eight first-place votes for the maximum 64 total points. EU, which won the CCIW Indoor Championship last March, is in search of its first-ever women’s outdoor title.
Host North Central was slated second in the poll, earning 57 points and one first-place vote. The Cardinals have won the last five championships since 2019 and 14 titles overall.
Third place in the pre-championship poll went to Illinois Wesleyan with 45 points, followed by Augustana (42 points), Carthage (38 points) and Wheaton (29 points). North Park, Carroll and Millikin earned spots seventh, eighth and ninth, respectively.
The championship kicks off Friday morning with field events at 10 a.m. Track events start Friday at 2:30 p.m. Competition resumes Saturday at 9:30 a.m. The post-championship awards ceremony is slated for approximately 6:25 p.m.
