NAPERVILLE — Adriana Crabtree, a senior at Illinois Wesleyan, repeated as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Student-Athlete of the Week after claiming first place at the Spartanburg Pre-National Meet last Saturday at Roger Milliken Center. The announcement marks her third weekly award from the league in 2025.
Crabtree picked up the fourth of her career at the site of the 2025 Division III Cross Country National Championship with a 6K time of 21:47.6. Crabtree was strong down the final stretch, pulling away from runner-up Riley Capuano of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, a top-20 finisher at the last year's national championship, and ultimately winning by nine seconds.
