Noah Cleveland Powers IWU, Earns CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week

NAPERVILLE — Illinois Wesleyan sophomore forward Noah Cleveland has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week, announced Monday. Cleveland's selection marks his third of the season.
 
A native of Normal, Ill., Cleveland poured in 30 points on 13-of-17 shooting (76.5 percent) from the field in IWU’s 80-61 win at Wheaton on Saturday. He added 13 rebounds to record his 11th double-double of the season, while also contributing three assists, two steals and one block in 33 minutes of action.
 
The sophomore helped the Titans outscore Wheaton 38-20 inside. Cleveland scored eight points during a decisive second-half run that extended the Titans’ lead to 25 points, as Illinois Wesleyan limited the Thunder to 34.5 percent shooting from the field.
