ROCKFORD, Ill. — The 2026 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Golf Championship will begin Wednesday at Aldeen Golf Club in Rockford, Ill. Hosted by Millikin, the three-day, 54-hole event will begin with Wednesday’s opening round at 12:30 p.m. Rounds two and three are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday and Friday. Illinois Wesleyan led the pre-championship poll with 64 points and eight first-place votes.

Millikin followed the Titans with 52 points and one first-place vote, while Carthage was third with 48 points. Augustana was fourth with 47 points, followed by Wheaton with 35, North Park with 22, North Central with 20, Elmhurst with 19 and Carroll with 18.
IWU enters the championship seeking its 14th consecutive CCIW title. The Titans have won every conference championship since 2012, excluding the canceled 2020 event.
The 2026 championship field includes defending individual medalist Michael Spitzer of Illinois Wesleyan, who won the conference title in 2025 with a three-round total of 208. Spitzer is scheduled to tee off Wednesday at 12:57 p.m. in a group with Millikin’s Martin Ammeux and Wheaton’s Baylor Brogan. Illinois Wesleyan’s lineup also includes Juney Bai, who received the CCIW Elite 26 Award in both 2024 and 2025. Bai is scheduled to begin his opening round at 12:48 p.m. alongside Millikin’s Jake Krstulovich and Wheaton’s Micah Chiong.
The tournament field also includes Felix Pettersson of North Park, the 2025 CCIW First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year. Pettersson is scheduled to begin his round at 2:27 p.m. in the afternoon wave.
Ryan Andrews of Illinois Wesleyan, Luke Butler of Millikin and Tannen Reed of Wheaton are scheduled to lead the field off the first tee at 12:30 p.m. Other opening-round pairings include Illinois Wesleyan’s Aidan Healy and Pablo Castro opposite Millikin’s Luke Bradley and Jack Bollinger, respectively.
The 2026 championship will mark the first time the event has been held at Aldeen Golf Club. The course opened in 1991 and includes 18 championship holes, 43 bunkers and water hazards on 12 holes. The championship schedule includes a 12:30 p.m. start on Wednesday, followed by 9 a.m. starts on Thursday and Friday.
