BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — The 2026 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Tennis Championship will begin Thursday morning at Evergreen Racquet Club in Bloomington, Ill. Hosted by Illinois Wesleyan, the three-day, single-elimination event will determine the conference’s automatic qualifier for the NCAA Division III Championship.
The six-team field includes the top six teams from the regular-season standings. North Central earned the No. 1 seed after completing a 7-0 CCIW schedule and securing its third regular-season title in the last four seasons.
Thursday’s quarterfinal round will begin at 10 a.m. with No. 4 Wheaton facing No. 5 Millikin. No. 3 Augustana will meet No. 6 Carroll in the second quarterfinal at 2 p.m.
The winners will advance to Friday’s semifinal round against the top two seeds. North Central will face the Wheaton-Millikin winner at 10 a.m. The Cardinals enter the tournament with a 14-7 overall record and are seeking their fourth CCIW tournament title in the last five seasons.
No. 2 Carthage will play the Augustana-Carroll winner in Friday’s second semifinal at 2 p.m. The Firebirds – seeking their first league tournament championship since 2023 – enter the tournament at 20-3 overall and are led by senior Francisco Silveira, the 2026 CCIW Student-Athlete of the Year. Silveira was unbeaten at No. 1 singles during conference play.
The championship match is scheduled for Saturday at noon.
Several All-CCIW selections are expected to compete during the tournament. First Team honorees include North Central’s Henry Ros and Phillipp Wottgen, Carthage’s Diego Silva and Silveira, Augustana’s Santiago Diaz and Carroll’s Andrew LaBelle. Ros was 7-0 at No. 2 singles in league play.
Millikin freshman Gillian Nahum, the CCIW First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year, will lead the Big Blue into Thursday’s quarterfinal against Wheaton. Other All-CCIW selections in the field include Wheaton’s Corin Tang and Carroll’s Ryan LaBelle.
