NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Augustana’s Brittany Reece and Carthage’s Bari Reynolds were named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Tennis Co-Players of the Week Wednesday.

Reece, a senior from Naperville, Ill., and Neuqua Valley High School (Elementary Education major), finished 4-0 at No. 2 singles and No. 1 and 2 doubles combined. She defeated Loras’ Sarah Alt (6-1, 6-0) and Beloit’s Maria Mears (6-0, 6-2). She then teamed with Brittany Reece at No. 1 doubles to defeat Loras’ Ale Ruales and Rachel Weglarz (8-4), and with Krista Panko at No. 2 doubles, beating Beloit’s Alex Hinck and Ashley Miglin (8-4).

Reynolds, a sophomore from Sterling, Ill., and Sterling High School (Chemistry major), was 4-0 at No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles combined in matches against Wisconsin-La Crosse and Edgewood on Sunday. She defeated Wisconsin La Crosse’s Olivia Hartwick (6-2, 0-6, 10-6) and Edgewood’s Laura Olson (6-2, 6-1). She then teamed with Kristina Naidicz and defeated Wisconsin La Crosse’s Jenny Maruyama and Andrea Vivian (8-6) and Edgewood’s Taylor Storbakken and Kristen Boone (8-0).
