NAPERVILLE – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced its Student-Athletes of the Week for events conducted between Monday, Dec. 2 and Sunday, Dec. 8 in men’s swimming & diving on Wednesday afternoon.
 
Swimming: Edward McConnaha, Carroll, Senior (Plymouth, Wis.)
McConnaha seized his second weekly honor from the CCIW after turning in a time of 46.90 seconds in the 100 freestyle at the Carthage Classic last weekend. The performance was a lifetime best and established a new Carroll record.
 
The Plymouth, Wis. native also set a program record in the 200 freestyle, winning the race in a time of 1:41.33.
 
Diving: Taydin Murphy, Carthage, Freshman (Minooka, Ill.)
Murphy becomes the first three-time CCIW Diving Student-Athlete of the Week in 2024-25 after scoring career highs in both 1-meter dive and 3-meter dive at the Carthage Classic. Murphy won both boards, scoring 385.65 for 11 dives on 1-meter and 377.50 for 11 dives on 3-meter.
