NAPERVILLE – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) selected its Women’s Indoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week on Wednesday for competitions scheduled between Monday, Dec. 2 and Sunday, Dec. 8
Track: Alyssa Busker, Elmhurst, Graduate Student (Plainfield, Ill.)
In her Elmhurst debut, Busker recorded the third-fastest time in Division III history in the 60 meters, winning Saturday’s race at the UW-Oshkosh Earlybird Invite in 7.45 seconds. The performance broke Nia Joiner’s CCIW record (7.49) and Ava David's Elmhurst record (7.66).
Field: Imani Ogunribido, Illinois Wesleyan, Sophomore (Hanover Park, Ill.)
In another record-breaking day, Ogunribido established a new top mark in IWU history in the triple jump with a mark of 12.11 meters at the Titan First Chance in Bloomington.
