NAPERVILLE – Augustana junior Tyler Leslie and Carthage sophomore Devon Kuhn were named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Swimming & Diving Student-Athletes of the Week following their performances in dual competition last Saturday.
Swimming: Tyler Leslie, Augustana
The Aurora, Ill. native helped lead the Vikings to dual victories over Monmouth (221-14) and Coe (207-64) last Saturday.
Leslie recorded wins in both the 100-yard backstroke and the 100-yard butterfly. He posted times of 52.13 in the 100 back and 50.89 in the 100 fly, with both swims marking personal-best performances. He also contributed to Augustana’s relay success, joining Luke Rettig, Bjorn Sievert and Oskar Bannister on the winning 400-yard freestyle relay. The quartet closed the meet with a time of 3:16.50.
Diving: Devon Kuhn, Carthage
Kuhn, a native of Leesburg, Ind., turned in a strong performance in last Saturday’s dual competition for the Firebirds. Competing on the 1-meter board, Kuhn posted a season-best score of 173.35. The effort helped the Firebirds open the 2026 portion of their schedule with a 222-76 win over Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
